Man buys photo for $2 at garage sale – looks closer and discovers it’s worth millions

The photos were very old, lacking color and taken years ago, simply relatively ordinary memories.

The only reason Randy decided to buy that box was because he found the photos inside rather cool and unique.

Once home, he began to flick through the photos and that’s when he noticed what appeared to be a familiar face, that of Billy the Kid, known as one of the Wild West’s most notorious outlaws.

Billy the Kid, whose real name was William H. Bonney, was killed in 1881 at the age of 23, after living a life as a fugitive.

Besides being a rather incredible piece of history, Randy’s find was also valuable.

According to reports, this particular photo from the box he only spent $2 on was sold for astonishing $5 million.
