Life had been hectic lately. Between my demanding job and managing a home with three young children, I barely had time to breathe. My husband suggested we hire a babysitter, and after much thought, I agreed. That’s how Emma came into our lives.
Emma was young, polite, and seemed wonderful with the kids. She always kept the house tidy and even helped with dinner sometimes. I thought I had hit the jackpot. But yesterday… yesterday changed everything.
