Cleaning pans can take time

With use, the bottom of the pan can burn and you end up with very difficult stains. In this case, most people choose to rub them like crazy to get rid of them. Not only will this take a lot of time, but   the results of such a method are not always satisfactory   and you will have to try several times to clean the surface of the pan. Know that this is far from inevitable. We give you the tips you need to understand how to clean and scrub your burnt cookware.

How to remove dirt and thoroughly clean the bottom of pans?

To shine and give a second life to your stainless steel pan, you will need the following ingredients:

– One cup of   baking soda

–   Dishwashing liquid

–   White vinegar

– Water

Start by equipping yourself with a glove. Cleaning your pan will be done in two stages. Mix your baking soda with water to form a paste  . Apply a generous portion to the back of your pan, to cover it completely. As you already know, baking soda is an excellent cleaning product, very effective and an anti-limescale product   that can also be used in various ways in a home  , so it is always a good idea to have some at home. Put the saucepan in the sink and let it sit for 30 minutes before scrubbing with a damp sponge.

If this is not enough to completely remove the bottom of the pan, you can use white vinegar, the   cleaning product par excellence! . All you have to do is mix dishwashing liquid with vinegar and apply everything with a damp sponge.  Leave the product on for ten minutes before rubbing to remove any remaining stains  .

Like vinegar, lemon juice is not left out to clean and maintain your utensils. Its citric acid acts as a disinfectant, used to clean, degrease and shine.

Another method is to put a tablespoon of baking soda added to a little water in the pot or utensil to be descaled until it forms a paste, and boil the preparation over the heat for a few minutes. Let the solution soak into the cookware. Wipe afterwards with a clean, soft cloth, paper towel, or microfiber towel to remove any burnt-on deposits. Then rinse with clean water. Cleaning and degreasing with these eco-friendly products remains an easy task.

Pans in good condition, maintenance issue

A good quality frying pan can have a pretty long lifespan, just ask our grandmothers: The pans they still use today sometimes have many years of service! – Avoid using metal cutlery as it damages the materials and the bottom of the pot. So prefer a wooden spoon or spatula. The same goes for a utensil with non-stick coatings like Teflon. It is also advisable to clean it with a damp cloth and wipe it with a microfiber cloth.

– To store them, avoid stacking pans in cabinets as much as possible. If you have space, it would be best to hang them through the hole that is usually in the handle.

– Avoid bleach. Contrary to popular belief, bleach is not a good product for cleaning pans. In fact, it is a corrosive product that can damage saucepans and other stainless steel pots. It is always good to favor natural products,  here are 10 tips that will allow you to clean your house with lemon   !

Coarse salt can be an alternative to remove the burnt stain from your container. Pour a good dose into the bottom of the casserole and leave for 2 hours or even overnight. Scrape to remove all dirt and burnt stains. This works for both stainless steel and cast iron pans.

You should also know that these tips also serve to effectively clean and restore shine to the aluminum sink or any other surface that contains traces of lime.
