Mia Robertson is overcome with emotion.

Although his death has left them all in shock and sadness, she will cherish her memories of him for the rest of her life. Dr. Genecov’s love will live on in Mia’s heart as a constant reminder that he will never be forgotten.

Missy Robertson describes how her husband’s generosity and continuous support impacted her and her daughter, Mia Robertson.

His caring attitude gave them peace, and his encouragement gave them the idea that they could do anything, no matter how hard. Mia had her 14th operation in July, which she feels will be the last one she will ever need.

She set up the “Mia Moo Fund” so that other children could get medical care and not have to hide their smiles because of health problems. Missy and Mia are more vital than ever, owing in part to the support of their family and friends, who have been with them every step of the way.

Being kind and helpful, Missy’s husband helped bring peace and stability to an otherwise stressful situation. His presence helped keep Mia’s 14th procedure in July fear-free as they supported her in the face of an unknown future.

Furthermore, he assisted them in growing strength beyond what either of them could have imagined previous to these trials; with each passing day, they felt more empowered to face whatever obstacles arose with courage and grace.

Due to this trip, Mia established the ‘Mia Moo Fund,’ a humanitarian organization committed to assisting children needing medical care by offering financial support so they do not have to compromise their smiles due to low finances.

Missy Robertson told Mia the sad news she took with a heavy heart. Those he helped and those closest to him will never forget Dr. Genecov’s enthusiasm to include his patients in decision-making, and his beautiful clothes and elegance.

Mia thinks she is fortunate to have met Dr. David Genecov. His contribution to her journey with cracked lip and palate and the many medical breakthroughs he has left for future generations is unmatched.

Mia’s mother stated that she could no longer remember life before she visited with Dr. David and asked everyone to pray for those who were in distress due to this tragedy.

The doctor’s work and warmth at this time of need held a particular place in the family’s hearts, and they will always be thankful for what he gave medical advances that benefitted lives worldwide.
