The craziest cult you have ever heard of that still exists today.. 🤨🤨

The cult is infamous for carrying out the 1995 Tokyo subway sarin gas attack, killing 13 people and injuring over a thousand. This act of terrorism shocked the world and led to a massive crackdown on the group. Despite the capture and execution of Asahara and several high-ranking members, the cult still exists today in a much-reduced form.

It has rebranded as Aleph and claims to have renounced violence, though it remains under strict surveillance by the Japanese government. Some of its splinter groups also persist. The fact that it continues to operate after committing such atrocities and with its bizarre blend of beliefs makes it one of the strangest cults still active today.
