How to clean a burnt frying pan? 3 easy and effective tips

Salt is a cleaning product that can be used to scrub burnt pots and pans, but also to clean the sink or toilet. Free of chemicals, this ingredient is a grandmother’s trick that restores all the shine to pans. Salt is also one of nature’s most effective tricks for removing stubborn stains and burn marks from stainless steel and cast iron pots and pans. However, salt should not be used on non-stick pans. To do this trick, pour a litre of warm water into your burnt pan and then add 3 tablespoons of salt. Leave to soak for 10 minutes and then bring the water to the boil. Once the water boils, simmer for 15 minutes on low heat. Then just scrub with a sponge to remove stubborn residues.

Tip 3: Boil water and dishwasher to make your pans sparkle

Dishwashing liquid has many uses. To effectively degrease pans, boiling water and dishwashing liquid can be very effective. Simply pour water into a saucepan and then add 3 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid. Bring the liquid to the boil and then simmer for 15 minutes. You can also replace the dishwashing liquid with dishwasher tablets. Dishwashing liquid and tablets have enzymes designed to remove tough stains. After boiling the water in the pan, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a while. Then simply scrub with a sponge to remove the residue.

These three tips will quickly remove burn marks and leave your pans sparkling clean.
