Home Tips: How Does Salt Help You?
Some tasks can be boring and you may put off cleaning the house several times a week.

However, it is advisable to plan a specific time of day for cleaning, because a clean and tidy home improves your mood.

Salt can do many things in the home, although most people only use it for cooking. It is a completely natural and very effective cleaning agent that our grandmothers used. Few people know this, but you can use it to clean your pipes.

You should periodically pour a solution of half a bucket of warm water and half a cup of salt into the kitchen sink. This will prevent grease from accumulating in the drain after washing dishes. You can also deodorize your sink with this simple gesture.

Another tip will be of great help to those who usually drink red wine. Salt has excellent absorbent properties and the next time someone spills red wine on the carpet or sofa, immediately look for some in the kitchen.

Clean the affected area with a paper towel or cotton cloth after sprinkling a pinch of salt over it. Leave on for 10 minutes and remove the stain with soapy water. As a reminder: alcohol consumption is harmful to your health.

To remove fat from the pan
Salt is a great way to remove fat from a pan. Simply sprinkle it on the greasy area and leave it on for a few minutes. You will then need to scrub it thoroughly with a sponge and some dishwashing liquid before rinsing.

This ingredient also cleans brass and copper items. Mix equal parts salt and white vinegar or lemon juice to make a paste. Rub the latter gently onto the affected areas and leave it on for an hour, then dry everything with a soft cloth.
